To start my initial research, I conducted a competitive audit to analyze the current market for memory capturing and journaling. This audit allowed me to identify gaps and opportunities to address within the Reminiss app.Â

Next, I created a persona to help understand the user's needs, behaviors, and pain points. This allowed me to grasp the basic story that would be translated into the app's features and interactions.
After I finished creating wireframes and a low fidelity prototype that displayed the interactions, I conducted an unmoderated usability study with 5 participants. The study findings are summarized below. The hi-fi prototype was then created based on this feedback, keeping in mind the need for accessibility.
